My Quirks?

Heidi Tagged me to list me quirks about myself. I was sure I could not think of any. I consider myself pretty well balanced and almost perfect but.... Heidi reminded me of some of the quirks I have that I just think of as normal anymore. So here is the list...

1. I can't have anything around my neck at all. I will totally freak out. I don't wear necklaces or even most regular t-shirts. I can't stand to see someone with a "choker" necklace on. I want to go and rip it right off and yell "it is called choker for a reason freak!" That is not quirky is it?
2. I can watch same movie over and over again. I have most of the Frasier TV season on DVD. I really don't like it when they take off old tv shows I have been watching for years.. over and over agian.
3. I twitch or shake my foot most of time when I sit down. I don't even notice I am doing it.
4. Heidi and Ryan think I have a quirkiness about my movie watching. I am very picky about the shows I watch. I don't like violence at all, no car chases (it makes me motion sick), no dying kids, has to have more light moments then heavy, no nudity or sexual jokes,I don't like talking animals in the movie,don't mix animation with reall people in the movie, I am sure I have more rules then that and I am sure Heidi and Ryan can point them out.
5. I like to hypnotize people while I am talking to them and they don't even know it.
oooooppppsss I should not of let that go!
6. I wear white socks and with black shoes and black pants and I don't care.
7. I have a great witch laugh that freaks out even my own family.
8. I walk around my yard spinkinly fairy dust each day to keep the bad fairys out.
9. I can't cotton in my mouth. Like at the dentist. It drives me crazy. I once acually took out some molding stuff from my mouth while the dentist was out of the room and went into the room next door with tears in my eyes. I just can't stand stuff in my mouth other then food. And even that if iffy...
10.I am named after a movie and am forever 16 going on 17....

Girl Time

Christina and I got our ears pierced together in Utah. I had let my ears close up years ago but had decided to repierce them. It was a fun thing to do together with my only girl.

My summer trip to Utah

Christina and I went to Utah this year and visited Heidi and her famiy. We had a great girl time. Here are some pictures. More to come.

Hot summers day.

We had some pretty hot weather this year. My kids and Marylynns kids took time time to cool off in Oma's sprinkler and at my house too. It was alot of fun for all.
The red head boy is Marylynns oldest Justin and the other 2 girls are Hadley and Madilyn who are also Marylynns. It is great to have cousins to play with on a hot summers day.

My Tatoo and Scotts B-Day.

Jeffery was practice his new art form of marker tatoos on me. It was kinda cool.
In August was Scotts 11th b-day. We took him to a mexican resteraunt here in Hillsboro that gives you a hat for birthday. It was great. Most of the kids go there for thier birthdays.

2008 Washington county fair

Here are some pictures from out trip to the washington county fair. We go several times during the 4 days as we just live one block from the fair grounds and admission is free. The kids had fun. Travis only went for a couple hours on one evening after we found the "video game" booth. We watched the hypnosis show and also listened to some music a couple nights. Christina and Scott went on the scrambler with me but we did not get any good pictures. You sure can spend alot of money really fast at the fair.

More camping

Jeff had his girlfriend come camping with us. They are such a cute couple. The boys were able to talk the peacocks at the camp ground into trusting them. The peacocks woke us up each morning. I have to admit as pretty as they are they are not my favorite bird at 5am...

Camping and fishing

We went camping on the 4th weekend to a local campground. It had a nice little trout pond and we had fun fishing. I caught the first fish of the trip and it was lots of fun. Actully Angela and I were fishing by ourselves waiting for the guys to finish playing fisbee golf. It was gross but fun at the same time fun and reminded me of allt he times fishing as a child. I really did enjoy it and especially with using powerbait instead of worms. ;O) The boys caught and ate 3 crawdads.. That is the first time for my boys. They did bring a friend along and he knew a little more about it then them. I remember catching crawdads at camp alpine at girls camp each summer and eating them too.

4th of July.

We went to a local park for watch the fireworks this summer. The kids had alot of fun. I took Hadley and Madilyn with us as Marylynn was not feeling good that night. My friend Angela and her famiy came along too.

I had my 41st birthday this year May 2nd. I got my favorite cake ... cheesecake. Yeah. I have been very busy as I have taken a 2nd job since Chris has been off work for over 3 months. I am working hard to build up more time in my pracitce. But am working at Bi- mart while I am working on it. The kids have adjusted well and Chris is being very supportive being mister mom.

Travis turns 13. A new teenager in the house!

Travis's B-day was the end of april. We had cake as a family and then a couple week later he had a friend party. I had found those plastic bubble things we use to play with when we were little at the store and the kids had lots of fun playing with them. They then broke into a game of football at the church across the street. It was great to see a group of kids playing outside together and the weather was great for it.

It has been a busy few months for scouts with scott. He participated in his last pinewood derby this spring. Infact it is the last one for are whole family. Kinda sad. Scott also earned his webelos last Tuesday and it is the last badge in cubscouts. He will be a full fledge boy scout in just a couple months.

Jeff and I were playing dress up. I wore his boots and shirt. We look ready to go to a rodeo don't we. Or a hoe down... Yeeee.... haw.......

Okay now lets all think of weird names for our kids if we named them after their favorite object, food or quirkiest trait.
