My summer trip to Utah

Christina and I went to Utah this year and visited Heidi and her famiy. We had a great girl time. Here are some pictures. More to come.

Hot summers day.

We had some pretty hot weather this year. My kids and Marylynns kids took time time to cool off in Oma's sprinkler and at my house too. It was alot of fun for all.
The red head boy is Marylynns oldest Justin and the other 2 girls are Hadley and Madilyn who are also Marylynns. It is great to have cousins to play with on a hot summers day.

My Tatoo and Scotts B-Day.

Jeffery was practice his new art form of marker tatoos on me. It was kinda cool.
In August was Scotts 11th b-day. We took him to a mexican resteraunt here in Hillsboro that gives you a hat for birthday. It was great. Most of the kids go there for thier birthdays.

2008 Washington county fair

Here are some pictures from out trip to the washington county fair. We go several times during the 4 days as we just live one block from the fair grounds and admission is free. The kids had fun. Travis only went for a couple hours on one evening after we found the "video game" booth. We watched the hypnosis show and also listened to some music a couple nights. Christina and Scott went on the scrambler with me but we did not get any good pictures. You sure can spend alot of money really fast at the fair.

More camping

Jeff had his girlfriend come camping with us. They are such a cute couple. The boys were able to talk the peacocks at the camp ground into trusting them. The peacocks woke us up each morning. I have to admit as pretty as they are they are not my favorite bird at 5am...

Camping and fishing

We went camping on the 4th weekend to a local campground. It had a nice little trout pond and we had fun fishing. I caught the first fish of the trip and it was lots of fun. Actully Angela and I were fishing by ourselves waiting for the guys to finish playing fisbee golf. It was gross but fun at the same time fun and reminded me of allt he times fishing as a child. I really did enjoy it and especially with using powerbait instead of worms. ;O) The boys caught and ate 3 crawdads.. That is the first time for my boys. They did bring a friend along and he knew a little more about it then them. I remember catching crawdads at camp alpine at girls camp each summer and eating them too.

4th of July.

We went to a local park for watch the fireworks this summer. The kids had alot of fun. I took Hadley and Madilyn with us as Marylynn was not feeling good that night. My friend Angela and her famiy came along too.
